Dedicated Conference Centre:

During the pre-camp Olympics, Crowne Plaza served as the exclusive venue for Team Ireland athletes, utilising our state-of-the-art meeting rooms on the first floor, including rooms 1, 2, and 3, for professional photoshoots. These rooms, each equipped with advanced technology and dedicated breakout areas, provided ideal settings for capturing compelling images used to promote the athletes ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The natural lighting in these spaces enhanced the ambience, complementing the versatile seating styles such as theatre and cabaret setups, which offered flexibility for various types of events.

Additionally, the prestigious Heather Suite at Crowne Plaza was central to hosting award ceremonies, media coverage, presentations, and serving as the home base in Ireland for the Olympic Federation of Ireland. This versatile space, capable of being divided into two rooms with movable stages and projectors, ensured customisable setups tailored to the specific needs of each event. Whether facilitating conferences, seminars, or large-scale events, the Heather Suite provided the perfect backdrop for important gatherings during this significant Olympic pre-camp period.

Fuelling Champions: Tailored Hospitality for Athletes

During the pre-camp Olympics, our culinary team, led by Executive Head Chef Alan Brady and Head Chef Jonathan Bone, collaborated closely with Olympic nutritionists to create a meticulously planned meal plan for athletes. Emphasising the use of fresh produce, our chefs focused on maintaining optimal health by minimising the use of oils and sugars in cooking. Each day, athletes were offered a varied and nutritious menu tailored to their dietary needs, ensuring they received balanced and wholesome meals throughout their stay.

Under the guidance of our expert chefs and in consultation with nutrition specialists, our kitchen sourced and prepared meals using cultivated ingredients that were thoughtfully selected to enhance nutritional value. With an emphasis on health-conscious cooking techniques and the finest ingredients, we ensured that every dish served contributed to the athletes' overall performance and well-being during this crucial training period.
